I help people understand technical solutions, without talking down to them (or watering down what you do).
My entire professional career has been dedicated to working with words. At a young age, I realized that I couldn't do anything that involves math, but words were easy. To be honest, I should never have considered the numbers option to begin with.
Like you, I have a specialty. For me, it’s helping B2B tech and SaaS companies connect to their customers, explain what they do, and make more money.
Good words help you.
They help you grow a business. They help you reach your audience. They bring people together. They help you connect with the world around you and show off your passions.
I realized this when words helped me find a way to connect to my passions (my first, and longest, love being fish).

Connecting the dots
One of the strongest lessons I learned growing up was that, while I couldn’t work with technology in a hands-on way, I could understand it.
This, while disappointing in the moment, ultimately meant I could take my love and understanding of technology and use it to help people understand how something could make their lives better.
I spent a decade working as a children’s writer doing just that. I explained things in a way that was comprehensive, but not condescending. I helped readers make connections that built their knowledge and fired up passions.
Helping businesses grow
After 20 years of working with words, the only thing that’s changed is who I write for. The world is a massively technical place. Helping people find the technical solutions they need and helping them make stronger connections to their audience is critical to growing businesses.
And it's a perfect blend of my passions (except the fish one).
